Message from our President:

Dear Fellow NLA Members,

Words can’t describe the devastation that the flooding has caused to our beloved Nebraska Lake Communities.
On behalf of the NLA Board of Directors, please accept our profound sorrow and support to each and everyone of you who have been affected by this tragedy.

Wow....unbelievable stories and lessons learned that we must share together.

We will dedicate a portion of our Agenda on our upcoming NLA Spring Conference to this topic:
-Flood Prepareness
-Lessons Learned
-Rehabilitation of Water Quality

We hope to see you on at our conference and be prepared to share your stories on what Mother Nature has wrought upon us all and we hope that we can all take back ‘lessons learned’ from this unfortunate flooding of our lakes.

-NLA Board of Directors

Recovering from a flood can be an overwhelming task. The Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service has developed a brochure which outlines the first steps you can take to recover from a flood.
